Very rare museum quality Vendée wine taster in solid silver from the late Louis XIV-Régence period, of the so-called "Fleur de Lys" patternl given its grip. Exceptional and elegant engraving characteristic of the region with the name "Jean Soret 1716" topped with scrolls and leafy branches. Hallmark for SABLES -D'OLONNE (Fleurs de Lys), Hallmark of the Common House for SABLES D'OLONNE 1715-16 (intertwined date letter B and anchor, all crowned) and Hallmark of the Master Goldsmith Claude MAYNET (Hallmark with the crowned initials "CM") received in 1702. This wine taster combines all the quality criteria: rarity of the pieces from this small Vendée office, model called "Fleur de Lys", engraving, period (late Louis XIV - early Regency), well hallmarked, and beautiful size with its +118 grams, not to mention its very good condition, micro-scratches from use.
