Fratelli Cassetti Silver Metal Cooler Bucket, Italian Design Circa 1960

Champagne bucket, cooler or planter..., the uses are multiple for this very elegant silver-plated metal object designed and signed by Fratelli CASSETTI (Florence, Ponte Vecchio, Italy, since 1926), circa 1960.
Octagonal in shape, unusual, and slightly flared towards the top, its "hammered" sides capture the light and make it vibrate.
No visible and unsightly welding is to be deplored; a superb work of shaping "fatto a mano", and synonymous with high quality.
Two soberly designed side handles allow it to be moved easily.
Signed on the top of one of the eight sides. Very good general condition, with minimal traces of moderate use on the back and inside (see photos).
