Elegant Louis XV period ceremonial secretary - TRANSITION, 18th century, In amaranth veneer, rosewood in the frames, lemon tree and stained wood, French polish. It presents: → on the front in the upper part on the flap a decoration with the attributes of music, in the lower part on each door a decoration of flower cassolettes, → on each side a rich floral decoration. It opens with: → A flap where we discover an interior composed of a shelf, two compartments, six small drawers or three on each side separated by a compartment and a writing table-desk covered with original black leather, → In the lower part opening with two doors an interior composed of two shelves, one of which is divided into two. The uprights are beveled. All topped with gray-white Aleppo marble. Note a trace of the JE stamp on the upper upright. Beautiful Parisian work from the 18th century.
