Jean Lefeuvre or Le Feuvre (1882-1974): “The Bay of Mont Saint-Michel”, oil on panel 20.5 X 41 cm. Slightly tiled. Large stamp of the signature at the bottom left, from the family. The Artist, Grand Prix de Rome in 1908, a great traveler, brought back from his travels many works bathed in light including large formats intended for the Messageries Maritimes liners, but also easel paintings like here, this panorama of the Bay where we can barely make out, in the background, Mont Saint-Michel emerging from the mist at dawn… Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or telephone.
