Very beautiful "jade" vase in blown multi-layer glass with a polished marble base in plum, orange and raspberry color with inclusion of gold leaf burst in interlayer called "gold flakes". Beautiful polychromy of the enamels and gold flakes in undercoat, the latter taking on the color of the glaze to become glowing with the colors of autumn. Creation 1910-1914, Art Nouveau period. Beautiful and deep signature in intaglio on the wheel "DAUM NANCY" with the Cross of Lorraine. Variant models in the excellent work, well known to lovers of beautiful glassware: "Le Génie Verrier de l'Europe" by Giuseppe Cappa at Editions Mardaga, page 224/225.
