Charming estagnier or estanié from Provence, beautifully carved in walnut.
This type of shelf was originally intended to display pewter but can now be easily diverted.
It is carved on the front with a large soup tureen and laurel branches and small flowers.
The uprights are largely scalloped as well as the crosspieces.
It rests on small Louis XV shell feet.
superb walnut patina.
Only a V-shaped graft at the right rear of the shelf, not very visible.

A very decorative and original small shelf, easy to place.
