Steel, iron, gold damascene
Total length: 51.5cm - Blade length: 32cm
Curved, double-edged steel blade with median edge, with gold damascene decoration on each side: flowers, scrolling foliage and cartouche.
Iron handle, engraved with scrolls and friezes, and covered with gold leaf. Symmetrical hilt and pommel; heel decorated en suite.
Wooden scabbard covered in amaranth velvet, with gold thread stitching (later velvet).
Good condition.
