Very beautiful statuette in white Dehua porcelain, called "white of China" representing a master, an ancient sage, probably a music teacher, and his pupil flutist, on an oval base. There is perhaps a small lack at the knee on the outfit of the young musician. Dehua porcelain is better known in the West under the name of White of China. It is a type of white Chinese porcelain, made in Dehua, in the Fujian province. It has been produced since the Ming dynasty. Qing period - 19th - China
