Landscape painter, he was a student of Durand Brager. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1880. Very pretty bucolic and refreshing landscape. A window on the 19th century countryside with its washerwomen and a few fishermen in the distance. A relaxing, soothing painting that can be admired by nature lovers.
