Édouard HONORE, then a member of the Board of Directors of the Manufacture de Sèvres and established at 4, boulevard Poissonnière in Paris, transferred his porcelain production to Champroux. He recruited skilled workers from Sèvres and created objects of great renown. In 1856, the factory had 150 employees, but it closed its doors in 1862.
