Group of six French chairs in solid mahogany belonging to the second half of the 19th century.

The backrest covered with Vienna straw has a shape called a racket and is enhanced by the presence of a finely chiselled gilded bronze trim.

The seat is covered in Vienna straw and rests on fluted truncated cone feet typical of the Napoleon III style to which it belongs.

Conditions: Restored by our restorers with the traditional method of shellac and alcohol made by hand.

Origin: France 19th century.
