Superb sandstone pointer dog by Georges GUYOT (1885-1972). This sculpture represents a pointer sitting on its hindquarters. Placed on a rectangular terrace, the dog has a beautiful expression. The details of the mouth are clear and the general appearance of great realism. The detail of the sandstone gives a quality effect with traces of varnish. Work in excellent condition, signed on the terrace Georges Lucien GUYOT is a French animal sculptor artist, one of whose works "the brown bear" is at the National Museum of Natural History.
