"Column Bedside Tables From The Late 18th Century"
Important pair of bedside tables with columns from the end of the 18th century of Sicilian origin made of apricot wood embellished with gilded wood moldings with the silver and mixture technique. The shaft of the column is made with applications of half-round strips to depict a grooved motif, equipped with a double door, one upper and one lower, separated by a gilded wooden frame with a plant motif. They rest on an octagonal base and the upper part completed with white marble of a circular shape. Interiors of the columns in fir and poplar, original locks as well as the keys.
