Paul DUBOIS (1827-1905) - The Florentine Singer of the 15th century in patinated bronze, circa 1880.Comment: superb sculpture by Paul DUBOIS (1827-1905) representing "The Florentine Singer of the 15th century".
He met with great success with this sculpture and even won the medal of honor at the Salon des artistes français in 1865.
It is marked with the signature "P. DUBOIS", the stamp of "réductions mécanique A.COLLAS" as well as the signature of the founder "F. BARBEDIENNE".
The sculpture is elegantly highlighted by a base in red griotte marble.
State of conservation: perfect condition (see photographs).
