Object description :

"Mid 19th Century French Louis Philippe Burl Walnut Chest Of Drawers"
French chest of drawers Louis Philippe mid 19th century. The wood is of the burl of walnut.

Walnut brambles are flamed because they have many aesthetic designs. These drawings have complex, highly contrasting patterns and intricate veins on a naturally dark background of varying intensities.

This chest of drawers is equipped with five drawers, one of which is called "doucine". It is hidden in the upper belt of the chest of drawers. Another smaller drawer is hidden in the lower part. The drawers are dovetailed ensuring perfect solidity. The drawers can be opened daily and hold many sometimes heavy objects. They slide perfectly.

The back of the dresser has solid wood panels so very resistant.

The discreet locks do not protrude from the surface. They are heart-shaped and made of brass. The key is used to open and close the drawers.

The dresser is perfectly stable. It rests on low legs that respect the shape of the furniture at the front and are called «patin» and two straight feet at the back.

The top of the dresser is in solid wlanut wood.

This chest of drawers is made from quality materials and built using ancient techniques: tenons and mortises weld the pieces of wood together and strengthen the strength.

In the 19th century all famous houses had a Louis Philippe dresser with simple and elegant lines. The dresser has its place in all the rooms of your house and will be the most beautiful effect.

It will attract attention by the quality of the wood, the softness of its lines. It will bring warmth, relaxation and well-being to your interior. Its creator invites to understand, to forge an intimate and unique relationship.

This piece of furniture passed from generation to generation enriches its history by settling in your interior. Its timeless past reflects your tastes and lifestyle. You will highlight it by playing with its lines. You will have your favorite items on its tray.

It is a piece of furniture of character.

The interior of the furniture has been cleaned so that the objects are stored in a very healthy and odorless environment.
