"Pair Of Carved Earthenware Lamps, China, 19th Century"
Two relief figures similar to a wise man and a young boy emerge majestically from the decor. We can imagine that they are roaming in steep mountains, the whole is overlooked by a blue sky. Beautiful shades of color, especially the different blues, matching perfectly with the beige and gray. This demonstrates great dexterity in the firing of earthenware at that time.
One of the heads is removable.
Old restoration and a chip in the vegetation are visible on one of them.
Work from the 19th century.
