He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow then in Munich at the private school of Anton Azbe. Then he settled in his hometown.  His work was part of the painting event of the 1928 Summer Olympics art competition.  Painter of history, genre scenes, equestrian paintings and military subjects. His favorite subjects were scenes of horses and Napoleonic battles, the insurrection of 1830 and the First World War, although he also painted portraits and landscapes. He also participates in popular panoramic paintings. He also participated in numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad
