"Nigeria, Cham-mwana People, 19th Century, Kwandalha Anthropomorphic Container."
Superb and rare anthropomorphic Kwandalha container or healing pot, Cham-Mwana from Nigeria, in terracotta dating from the 19th century. Beautiful crusty patina. Good condition except for an old lack at the eye level, without affecting the beautiful aesthetic. Height 27 cm without the wooden ring serving as a base.
