French School – Annunciation – Oil On Canvas – 18th Century

Oil on canvas from the 18th century showing an Annunciation.
On the left, overlooking, the archangel Gabriel in the light, accompanied by a putti. Above them stands the dove of the Holy Spirit. On the right, Mary is kneeling, her face raised towards the angel. She is dressed in the blue cloak that characterizes her. Behind her, we note a small landscape in the Renaissance style and a theatrical curtain of red velvet.
The work is clean, in good condition. We note some restorations and old repaintings. It has been relined (old), mounted on a stretcher with keys.
The work is offered in a 19th century gilded frame, generally in good condition (some repaintings).
