Very Important Wall Fountain Enamelled Earthenware From Sarguemines 19th Richly Polychromed N.3

An exceptional piece (1.20cm) that this Wall Fountain with the theme of the Sea, with shells and branches of pink coral. Of great size and ornamental this rare piece of "Curiosity" in almost new condition and has suffered little from dismantling, we can say that it is in good condition. Everything is there the casting stalactites, the generous shell that forms the large enameled basin with ribs with beautiful work of ribs and bright blue turquoise inside; bordered by leaves of water on the edge, the inverted pinnacle support forms the base for the generous shells; the algae and lower down the branches of pink coral on a blue background, the end of the console ending in brown highlighted volutes (hooks), starting from the various well-molded and argued hoops. The very large basin is enameled below in a deep translucent green and imitating the ribs of a large shell like a holy water stoup. The apron of the fountain with the tap hole is just as richly decorated with seaweed shell and stalamite dripping in its center in a beautiful translucent green like the shell; the sides decorated with volutes and Greek accents emphasize the pediment, we find the coral branches of a remarkable color like the whole piece. Generous and useful with strong decorative power, this rare piece from the middle of the 19th century from the Napoleon III period reflects the Parisian style of park ornaments of this period. It is in three separate parts to be assembled with sealing (which can be a plance), a good way to appreciate it and to be able to move it as desired; entrance veranda, greenhouse, living room dining room (cooler)...&c...
