it is Venus and Cupid also called the thorn puller after Giacomo MARCHINO
Period: mid-19th century, the gilded wooden frame is older from the 18th century.
Sold in its own juice in the state of discovery, uncleaned, good condition, note a micro chip on the nose of Venus, small wear on the 18th century frame which has been regilded in places with old paint. (see photos).
