"Gallé, Vase Decorated With Sailboats On The Sea "
Gallé multi-layer vase, acid-etched and fire-polished. Decorated with sailing ships on the sea, with small people sitting in the boats, in brown tones on orange and yellow, giving the idea of twilight, signed Gallé around 1920. Galle's sailing ship vases are very rare because Madame Galle disapproved of such images and they were only produced after her death.
