Finely carved netsuke representing a woodcutter, seated on a tree trunk, holding in his hands his hat filled with branches and fruits, an axe at his feet. Work from Japan from the Meiji period (1868-1912) Height 5.9 cm. Width 4.6 cm weight 42 g.
