"XVIII Table Lectern"
Walnut table lectern decorated with a shell on the bar that allows the book to be positioned. The 4 elements that form the base required great dexterity in the turning work. The walnut has acquired a superb polish. Good general condition for a work from the beginning of the 18th century, to be complete, note some traces of xylophages on the base and on the ball, missing a volute on the bar of the shell and a stain on the varnish.
