Large fluted porcelain saucer decorated in Famille Verte enamels with a central decoration of crustaceans and seaweed.The border is richly decorated with alternating panels of shells, flowering branches, branched birds, and motifs in green and red enamels.
Mark in a double circle.
China 18th century
Kangxi period (1661-1722)
Diameter: 25.3cm
A crack on the edge visible at 1 p.m., a few small chips on the border on the reverse, wear and loss to the enamels, wear to the gilding on the border.
