Large Louis XV period giltwood mirror with parecloses, France, 18th century, Provence region, Circa 1760, with rich carved decoration of laurel garlands, flowers, acanthus leaves and vines. Very good original condition, with its patinated gilding, its original mercury mirror and parecloses, and its original parquet flooring. The mirror's tin has numerous blurred wear and mercury snags, which is normal for an 18th century mirror, but without major consequences for the reflection and which also gives it its authentic charm.
