Oil on canvas, unframed.

- Inscribed: “GREGORIVS BIANCHI ELECTVS PLEBAVS. XXVIII OCTOBER MDCCXXXVII - CANONICVS S.PETRI, INDE S.MARCI, POSTREMO ARCHIPRESBITER S.MICAELI ARCANGELI - VIXIT ANNOS LXXXIV” (Gregorio Bianchi elected plebaus on 28 October 1737 - Canon of S. Pietro, then of S. Marco, finally presbyter of S. Michele Arcangelo - He lived 84 years).

- The painting is certainly attributed to the hand of Paolo Maria Bonomini (Bergamo 1703 - after 1779) on the basis of stylistic comparisons (see “Portrait of Simone Pelliccioli” and “Portrait of Antonio Bettami” in the collections of the Banca Popolare di Bergamo (formerly Banca Mutua Popolare).
