Wax stick case, very simple, cylindrical, opening 2/3 by a screw thread, each end engraved of a seal: in a circle: Initials nicely intertwined (Mavelot secret); in an octagon: Crowned noble coat of arms, framed by soft scrolls.
8.5cm x 1.8cm.
Indestructible wrought iron object, work of a workshop in Nuremberg or Augsburg, whose specialty it was, period of Louis XIV, circa 1700.
