This romantic dagger, also called a dagger of virtue, is made of steel and gilded bronze worked in the round. The baluster-shaped fuse is topped by a bust portrait of a horned demon, the hilt has a scrolled quillon, the cruise is animated on one side by a round mirror and the scabbard is punctuated by four naked women presented in a lascivious manner, referring to the Four Witches.
The straight, double-edged steel blade has a pointed tip.
