This romantic dagger, also called a dagger of virtue, is made of steel and gilded bronze worked in the round. The fuse features an architectural capital, the hilt, centered on a coat-of-arms, has scrolled quillons, and the scabbard is similarly decorated on both sides with grotesque drawn-tongue heads, chimeras and bearded men's faces on a sandblasted background punctuated with foliate scrolls.
Double-edged steel blade with pointed tip.
