Landscape painting, gouache and watercolor by Adrien Jacques Sauzay representing a landscape at dusk. Very beautiful painting where the artist knew how to play with variations in light to create a luminous and lively effect. Excellent condition of the whole and very good condition of the colors which have kept all their freshness of the time. Adrien Jacques Sauzay, 1841 1928 was a great artist, leader of the Barbizon school, who participated in the Paris Salon from 1863 where he was several times medalist. He also participated in various universal exhibitions. Note the presence of the original gilded wooden frame. Dimensions of the frame 64 by 47.5 cm.
