An early 19th cent. 16 blade pearl lobster pattern multiblade knife.
(16) sixteen blades including quill blades, each of a little different construction, with extended ricasso, indicative of early construction.
Each blade appears to be full or about full, with some grey patina.
Pretty carved and scalloped mother of pearl scales, over matching scalloped liners, with brass pins.
The pearl has no noticeable cracks or chips and everything works as it should.
