Large display case or bookcase in rosewood marquetry in amaranth frames. It opens with two large glass doors that have retained their wrought iron locks and cremones and 4 removable shelves. Beautiful original chiseled and gilded bronze trim, white marble. End of the Louis XV period, 1760s-70s. Large format but not too high, our piece of furniture remains easy to place even in a modern home. Ideal for displaying a collection of silverware, porcelain or precious books.
