Under the icebox, the mark in red of the Queen's manufacture, visible but slightly faded. The Manufacture rue de Thiroux, founded by André Leboeuf, will be under the protection of Queen Marie Antoinette thanks to its know-how. Thus several pieces will be manufactured for the Trianon estate. André Leboeuf obtains authorization to mark each piece with a crowned A, the first letter of the name of her majesty. André Leboeuf submits his tender in September 1776. The decoration of the pieces from this factory consists of garlands of flowers, cornflowers and roses, birds or rich arabesques of a lively polychromy and highlighted with gold.
