Project of scenery for Act III - 2nd scene, the Holy Temple, of the Opera Herodiade by Jules Massenet by the Théâtre Royal des Galeries Saint-Hubert in Brussels in 1917-1918. Pencil, watercolor and gouache on paper, titled "avant projet Herodiade" in ink at the bottom right and "a 16 jougey - Carpezas (?)" at the bottom left. Early 20th century. Dimensions: 42 x 51 cm.
