Superb white marble sculpture from the beginning of the 19th century in neoclassical style represents Hebe, Goddess of youth and daughter of Zeus. Sculpture after the work of Berthel THORVALDSEN (1770 - 1844) made in 1806 She carries a jug and a bowl containing the nectar which allows the gods to enjoy eternal youth and mortality. The features correspond to the ancient Greek canons in the tradition of the neoclassical school. The sculpture is made in exacerbated curves and uninterrupted volutes to illustrate a form of softness attributed to femininity.
