Of remarkable size, our very elegant seats rest on 4 curved legs connected by a spacer topped with a vase in the middle. They are carved with shells, water leaves and other volutes characteristic of the Louis XV style. Of very good size and very good quality, they are made of walnut and must come from the workshop of a very good cabinetmaker of this period who had the refinement to make curved seats. They come from a Bordeaux mansion. Ideal for a highly decorative interior. Trace of friction on one leg. No holes from wood-eating insects. Possibility of lacquering or gilding them.
