Crespina on pedestal in Urbino majolica with polychrome decoration in full of a scene depicting “Joseph is paid in kind” (Genesis, XLVII,16)
Joseph in Egypt managing the sale of cereals during the famine on behalf of the pharaoh.
After an engraving by Bernard Salomon. 
Workshop of Gironimo Tomasi. 
Inscription on the reverse not deciphered. 
Around 1560 – 1580 
Diam.: 30,5cm 
A dish showing this same scene is kept at the Louvre Museum with an attribution to Italy or France (Lyon or Nevers)
