Beautiful crucifix in gilded bronze and ebony veneer.
France, late 17th century.

Height of Christ: 24.9 cm
Width of Christ: 20.7 cm
Height from head to toe: 20.4 cm

To report: Overall in good condition. The cross was reinforced at the back in the past, but there is no play in the assembly. Probably reassembly of all old elements but perhaps of different origins. Christ and the vanity appear to be of the same make, but the titulus possibly comes from another crucifix. The cross, although old, is possibly also a reuse. The whole nevertheless constitutes a beautiful and very harmonious ensemble.
