Herman Richir (born Herman Jean Joseph Richir on December 4, 1866 in Ixelles and died on March 15, 1942), is a Belgian academic painter of allegorical and mythological scenes, nudes and portraits. The artist entered the Academy of Fine Arts of Saint-Josse-ten-Node and received the support of Charles Hermans who gave him valuable advice.
