Object description :

"Silver Travel Reliquary In Its Case. St Camilli"
Relic of St Camilli (1550 - 1614) Italian priest founder of the Camilian order, canonized in 1746.
The relic is preciously preserved in a very pretty reliquary frame in filigree silver, with floral decoration.
Under glass, on a faded red background, it is surrounded by a frieze of paperolle lined with small brilliants.
A small ring on the back to be able to hang it.
No silver stamp, like it use to be on small tiems on the 19th
Wax stamp of the covent on the reverse
In its case in the shape of an octagon whose two lateral sides are not the same size to fit the dimensions of the frame
Green case, lined with green plush, and decorated with gold vine leaves, equipped with its closing hook
Dimensions of the reliquary: 10.5cm x 7.5cm
Dimensions of the case: 12cm x 9cm Good condition.
