LUXURY SABER SHAMSHIR Consulate period RETURN FROM EGYPT Gilded brass mount, long-eared crossguard chiseled in high relief with plants in its center, straight quillons ending with two scallop shells, crooked handle with dragon loop, crack on a white material plate, fine gold medallions, one of which is missing. Scabbard with wooden ribs and copper plates covered with finely openwork brass and chiseled with plant motifs, two strong bracelets bearing military attributes on pearl backgrounds, worn felt in the center. Strongly curved blade, in Damascus with blacksmith's inscription on both sides inlaid with brass, 80cm long, fine spots without corrosion.
