Sabre of an officer of the 1st regiment of Cuirassiers of the Queen, the reorganization of July 16, 1815 keeps six regiments formed of only one company under the names of Cuirassiers "of the Queen" "of the Dauphin" "of Angoulême" "of Berry" "of Orléans" and "of Condé". Emblazoned sabre created in the workshops of renowned furbishers with a gilded brass mount with four guards, strong central medallion pierced and gilded with the coat of arms of the Queen mixing the arms of France with those of Savoy, quillon decorated with a palmette, cap chiseled with a fleur-de-lis, filigree calfskin hilt. White blade with Montmorency of 95cm by 3cm heel and 2.5cm arrow signed on the back Manufacture Royale du Klingenthal Coulaux Frères, punch on the heel of JT Dubocq director from 1823 to 1830, a second starred CF for officers' blades as a trade mark of the Coulaux company in Klingenthal, traces of oxidation towards the center and the point. Sheet steel scabbard with two bracelets and bail rings, gray patina with fine dark spots in the center, without deformation. Rare Restoration period model to discover in good condition with beautiful remains of gilding, perfectly homogeneous and authentic set which deserves a place of choice in all collections of French bladed weapons.
