Total length 100cm, designed for a blade with a 70cm nagasa and a 1cm sori. Width at habaki level 3.1cm for a thickness of 1cm. Nakago 14.8cm.
Saya in straw-lacquered wood with constellation of marine shell chips; gilded Mòn on one side.
Ichizuki, shibabiki, kunigata and kané guchi in iron, en suite. Dotted and gilded backgrounds on compartment lines. Black cotton sageo.
Two brass seppe.
Tsuba nade gaku ho kei, in iron featuring abalone, chased brass fukurin (strapping); remnant of gilding.
Fushi kachira following the saya fittings. The fushi is signed.
Menuki forming a calligraphy.
Signed wooden tsuka, stingray samé and black cotton tsuka ita. Wooden mekugi.
Very good condition.
