Pierre Paulin (1927-2009) Authentic CM141 model desk from around 1955 with a Modernist structure in a quadrangular shape opening with two drawers in an oak veneer box joined by a large black melamine top, the whole resting on an architectural base in black lacquered metal. Good condition, no veneer or melamine chips, entirely original, note only traces of use. Dimensions: 1 m 29 long X 73 cm high X 59 cm deep. Pierre Paulin is one of the most famous designers in the artistic cultural landscape, motivated by his taste for contemporary Scandinavian and American furniture, he is the author of many iconic works of 20th century design. The CM141 desk he created in 1953 is one of his great achievements, with its simple and functional lines it combines new materials and rationalization of production. Bibliography: - C.
