"19th Century Wood And Ivory Cane Or Umbrella Handle "
Amazing cane or umbrella handle depicting a grimacing child. The head and arms are made of ivory, the rest of the object is made of very hard exotic wood. The sculpture is of high quality. The child's hat is studded with tiny metal nails, perhaps gold. Very good general condition, no missing parts, small cracks in the ivory visible in the photos. Total length: 8cm Total height: 5.5cm. Object of great originality, very old and of high quality.
