He made illustrations for fashion, novels and stories. He also painted in oils and gouache. He ended his career as a portrait painter. Please note that the gouache is protected by glass, hence the reflections in the photos. Visible at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, at 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
