Very beautiful pillowcase marked with the initials JC hand embroidered in the upper left corner. White embroidery particularly well executed in plumetis stitch, cord stitch, pulled threads and sand stitch highlighted at the edges by a fine and delicate lace made by hand. Closure on the reverse using small mother-of-pearl buttons and buttonholes. Typical piece of wedding trousseaux from the end of the 19th century, in excellent condition, washed and ironed.
