"Beautiful Pair Of Frames, 1960s Presenting A Beautiful Collection Of 7 And 7 Stucco Prints"
Beautifully presented in large and deep frames from the 1950s with linen-lined edges and edged with moldings in pretty greige tones; on a taupe-colored paper background, mounted raw without glass; these beautiful and generous Antique prints are remarkably fine; being specialized in the search for this type of piece, I travel the world to find some and sometimes present them in a frame because often these objects of educational curiosity were kept in wooden boxes. These come from a rich "Neo-Classical" collection and had been chosen by the Amateur by the decorator who wanted for these beautiful fine pieces and from the first half of the 20th century in a concern for elegant, sober and refined decoration. These 7+7 immaculate white stuccoes are in good condition, of a chosen subject, and of a strong decorative power, two beautiful and clean decorations responding to each other in a clear pair, luminous and playing with the light by their details.
