Engraving (from the end of the 19th century) presented in a pretty frame with palms with floral motifs in patinated gilded wood from the Empire period, with its period glass. A bronzine was subsequently affixed.
At the bottom of the print are the words KDW (printer of heliogravures), and on the right P. DELAROCHE PINX (pinx, from the Latin pinxit, indicates the name of the original artist). Presence of the striking edge, printed on cardboard paper.

This portrait, taken from the original painting of 1838, was the source of inspiration for multiple replicas engraved using various techniques.
Good general condition of this set. Wear and tear of the frame (small chips) and some foxing on the margins of the engraving.
